Ceiling Skylight Restoration

10 Trinity Square is a Grade II* listed building that is situated in the Tower Conservation area in the City of London.
The original building was designed by the Architect Edwin Cooper. The building, 10 Trinity Square was completed in 1922. Several areas within the building are designated as Areas of special significance, one such area being the Pavilion Stair Cores.

Since 2012 the building has been taking part in a period of major extension, adaptation and refurbishment work to create a new hotel, with private apartments. One part of this adaptation has been the alteration to the height of the pavilion stair cores, with a major element of this adaptation being the replication of the highly modelled original ceiling that was in-situ.

The ceiling is highly decorated with a modillioned main cornice, featuring dentil and egg and dart enrichment and a decorative daylight/lantern in steel, with an apron of console brackets with swags and paterae, all set around a stadium shaped oval staircase. The quality of all these works all being completed to an extremely high standard.
