Sloane Street - Ceiling Replication
In this project, Heritage Plaster Services brought new life to an adjoining reception room by extending and replicating an original decorative ceiling. Every detail was faithfully reproduced, from the enriched perimeter and quadrant panels with elegant figurines, to the refined oval panels featuring husks, reeded designs, and cross straps. At the centre, our own Adam-style ceiling rose (design CR13) provides a striking focal point. Using careful on-site impressions, precise measurements, and in-house mould making, we crafted and installed each plaster element to perfectly match the existing design. Blending old and new so that the extension feels as if it has always been there.
Scope of Works:
- Enriched perimeter panel.
- Quadrant panel with figurines.
- Inner oval panel with Husks.
- Smaller inner oval panel of reeded design with cross strap.
- Adam style ceiling rose (HPS design CR13 installed)
- In situ site impressions, details and dimensions taken as required for replication of the existing profiles and enrichment designs.
- Set out designs to suit new ceiling dimensions.
- Manufacture of all moulds.
- Supply and install new plaster casts and make good, leaving ready for decoration.
