Headstone Manor, London
Headstone Manor is the oldest moated house in england, the oldest part dating back to early 15th century. The building was protected by a full scaffold and boarded in. All plaster and lath was lost, only the timber framework remained to much of the original building.
All lath and plaster replaced to match to the period of each particular area of the house, to include the use of wattle and daub.
Some parts to be used as museum and to remain open to allow visual inspection of each part of plastering process.
External plaster to have textured finish.
All materials and methods to be traditional.
