HPS82 Cornice “Chesham”is a highly ornate modillion block fibrous plaster moulding based on the Corinthian order. Its Comprised of the enriched block, with a double leaf enrichment to top member, then framed with egg & dart, bead and real ornamentation to the wall line, all in a fine proportion.The attention is drawn to the correct setting out of this ornamentation at mitre junctions. HPS82 Cornice was originally taken from an existing cornice moulding in a property in Chesham place within the Cadogan estate in central London, the estate becoming the Manor of Chelsea through the marriage of Lord Cadogan and the heiress to Sir Hans Sloane.
HPS82 Cornice is manufactured in 3 metre lengths.
