Cadogan Place was a complete refurbishment of a period residential property in Chelsea completed to an extremely high standard of finish.
The scope of the works required for this project encompassed several of our services including the manufacture of moulds to match to an existing ornate cornice; the supply and installation of several of our standard cornice designs both as normal cornice and as a lighting trough detail; and the modelling, mould manufacture and supply and installation works for three number fully bespoke decorative ceiling layouts.
The decorative ceiling were based upon an initial design concept received from the client from which we provided some initial artwork drawings upon which the full model would be based. After several drafts of the artwork and once the full design was agreed the full models were hand carved, moulds made of these models and plaster casts taken.
Through the course of the modelling process regular updates are provided for client confirmation with alterations being possible at this point.
The casts then fitted on site which along with various shapes of panel moulding, created the full ceiling
decoration to three number ceilings of differing shapes and dimensions.
